thanks to Tig and Aurora and Ethie and saraH, you guys' words mean a lot to me <3
my parent aide has been begging me to go to some of these parenting classes and support groups with her (do not want). i agreed to go to ONE, which meets every month or so. finally she managed to get me to go today... aaand it's cancelled for an emergency! so there ya go. i got out of going again XD
i spent $200 yesterday and got some high-end stuff i've needed/wanted for a while. high end, for me that is. i got an A/C unit for the kids' room, i've needed the second one awhile now. got a detachable shower head, that i've wanted only about nine or so years now. this makes it a looooot easier to rinse out hair dye, and wash the kids' hairs. got another fan, three are needed (one for each of us). the fan i had for twenty years finally shit the bed. then i got some clearence items, cheap canvas sneakers for the kids, some fabric squares, assorted food items. it feels good to have these things now and i'm trying not to let it get to me.
i found a Chris Jericho figure at the drug store. it really looks like him! ya know how sometimes they only remotely resemble the wrestlers they are modeled after.. but this one is great! usually the drug stores only have a few on the rack, and they're usually shitty ones like Bob Holly and Charlie Hass. so i consider this a huge score.
