*hugs*

I can't imagine going through that (insurance woes) with kids :( Saturday I had one big runaround with a pharmacy and my insurance about one of Dave's prescriptions. That was enough to make me irritated, and that was just one thing on one day.

omfg, i've never had this many problems with them before. it seemed like every single person i spoke to had no idea what they were doing. what would happen if, say, someone like me or you didn't do our jobs right?

I know..that's the really scary part. Just dealing with it for one day was enough to make me scream...how many people who have had to deal with what you went through just give up and then their kids end up suffering? GRRR!

all someone had to do was switch them over. the first hurdle was 'because i get masshealth through social security, the kids can't be on your claim'. it took three weeks for someone to realise that I MAKE $30 ON SSI, the rest of my money comes from disability proper.

the other reason they couldn't just be added to my claim was because 'the children have not been on your account since 2007, they need to be recirtified'. never mind they were on my claim before, and DSS had them under THEIR claim, and nothing had changed with me.

it took ONE LADY to put ALL THE INFORMATION TOGETHER and realise my kids were getting fucked over royally. 'we have their proof of citezenship, we have their proof of income, so i just went and approved it'.

i'm reccomending her for a frikkin Medal of Honor.

That's awesome, and there need to be more people like that in the world. Good for her.
