(no subject)
i think i have pinkeye... and an ear infection, as my ear just started getting weird and painful. apparently my cold slash sinus infection has gone, well, viral.
walking in the rain today i discovered there's a large crack in the sole of my sneaker. GUYS I HAVE NO SHOES LEFT that don't need to be fixed. okay maybe i do have some shoes, three pairs of high-heel boots and some dressy small heels. not things i can wear every day. i need to fix some other shoes. there's a shoe repair shop up the street but i need MONEY.
speaking of MONEY, i have none because i'm still waiting for this damn check. twenty-nine days since i was made the payee.
i remembered i have this skirt, which i haven't worn in a few years because i was too big for it. i tried it on and guess what? it fits! also i found a bunch of pants which fit again (that need mending) and some things that were wayyyy too big. and some t-shirts that need modifying.
it's raining again. some places are flooded again, some basements are being re-pumped out.
i saw my shrink for the first time today since she's been on maternity leave. it was nice. she gets me, ya know? i had the name and number of another woman for 'emergency perposes' but ugh, not breaking in another shrink.
i've been having way too much fun on the Awkward Family Photos site. they're having this 80's contest. vote for one of the top five or not... but the real gold is in the pages that follow. fantastic stuff.
