(no subject)
- i need more batteries, so i can figure out which of these toys works, and which does not. four in paticular: two dancing Elmos, one Bob the Builder, one Simba the Lion. i dunno which is broken and which just needs fresh batteries. so. i took the batteries out.
WHY DO THEY MAKE IT SO HARD NOW?
when i was a kid, not only were the battery covers easy to remove, but the battery compartment had this little strip of fabric, to make the removal of batteries EASIER! i don't remember any of my little friends never coming back because he or she died eating batteries.
meanwhile, i had two diffrent screwdrivers, then i needed another to pry a cover off. one Elmo refuses to come apart. i had a hard time with others. gracious.
- my hip is fucking my shit up, yo. like it keeps sending off sharp little pains when i turn the right way. or the wrong way, as it may be. EDIT 7:00PM- after dealing with this all day, i think i managed to pop whatever it was back into place. i felt better instantly. it's just sore now. but THANK GOODNESS.
1:47PM - IT'S STARTING TO SNOW!! just the lightest bit of flurries!!
- i hung up the wall quilts in the kid's room. cleaned some in there also. the vacuum practiclly sucked away the smaller rug with the little car town printed on it. i still need to get wood and brackets to make shelves in the closet there, to store the toys.
2:15PM - oh man oh man oh man, it's really snowing good!
2:45PM - snow!snow!snow!snow!
- i just played cars on the car rug in the kid's room.
- i dream of snow in the summer <3
