i am thankful that i have my own place and that i might even get my kids back next year. early next year. i'm finished with my requirements and they only have until january. i'm not thankful for much else, i guess. except the obvious: i have indoor plumbing, running hot water, shelter, clothes, food, electricity, a toilet, and i don't live in an active war zone nor a place where i stand to be beheadded because of my beliefs.

yesterday we had the turkey and all that jazz. also had some drinks and got a buzz on. shall be repeating the same tonight: turkey, trimmings, and alcohol.
