Yuto Birthday fic!
Today was THE day! Finally I’m also turning 16 like Keito and Yamachan!
The clock hit 12 at midnight as I received a bunch of birthday greetings from all the Hey! Say! JUMP members, and also the senpais and kouheis.
I grinned happily and looked at the boy beside me who was cutting the big cake in front of us into pieces. “Thanks Keito!” With a watering mouth I took the plate he offered me before I hugged him. “I think this is my best birthday ever!” He only cocked an eyebrow and looked at me. “Your birthday started just 10 minutes ago. How do you know what the day will bring?”
I rolled my eyes because of his comment and smiled again. “It’s because you’re here with me to celebrate it!” A short laugh escaped his lips and I pouted. “I’m happy as long as you’re happy. And that’s how a birthday should be.”
I nodded in agreement and took a big bite of the strawberry cake my mum had baked a few hours ago.
“Umai!” Another grin formed on the others lips as he heard my outburst. “Shouldn’t you wait till he arrives?” My eyes grew bigger as realization hit me. “Oops!”
And then there was a “clonk” heard on my window.
“There he is” was all that Keito declared after that and I stood up to peak a glance outside.
My heart nearly stopped as Yamachans face appeared out of nowhere!
He opened the window with a swift movement and crawled into my room before he jumped at me and screamed: “Happy Birthday, Yutooo!”
He almost crushed my bones as he hugged me tightly. “Uh, thanks Ryo. But please don’t kill me!”
He let go of me and grinned innocently. “Sorry.”
Bu then his eyes caught the cake which was already half eaten. “You started without me? How mean!”
He pouted and I had to laugh as well as Keito.
“I told him to wait. But you know that little glutton.”
My cheeks turned red and I bowed apologetically. “I’m so sorry! But you get an especially big pie slice!”
As fast as I could I took another piece of cake and presented it the glistening eyes of my friend. “It’s strawberry cake.”
The plate was gone as soon as I mentioned the word “strawberry” and again I had to smile about that.
Now that we’re complete I also took my plate and began to munch on my pie slice.
“Okay, NOW it’s the best birthday ever!”
Because the both most important people in my life were beside me. And well, there was strawberry cake!
