So there's this house across the street. For the past few years, we noticed that his driveway was always, ALWAYS, clean in winter. Really, it's like he had a giant invisible force field preventing snow from touching his driveway. And it's not an simple asphalt driveway, no it's one of those "brick" ones.
So we kinda arrived at the conclusion that he had a heated driveway, I mean, that was the best conclusion.
Since I do the 12-8 shift now, I get to see a bit more about what's going on in the neighborhood nowadays. Turns out... he doesn't have a heated driveway, HE SHOVELS IT ALL OUT.
... that's pretty insane. Most people shovel pretty good and there's still some traces of snow, heck usually people leave a whole bunch of snow right on the asphalt... and he's nearly taking a toothpick in all the cracks to get rid of that last particle of snow.
I'm not sure if that's dedication... or insanity... especially since he shovels more than once per day and does this each time.
