Holding my breath
I'm hoping my request for my enrollment to be postponed will be approved. *crosses fingers tightly* Otherwise, I gotta get my ass in gear and get all the paperworks/packing done pronto. Aughh I wanted to put in my 2 weeks notice already, but decided to wait a bit because I think I don't wanna sit around doing nothing if my request does get approved. I hope, I hope, I hope...
Anyways, what to distract myself with... Maybe more "AyA"...
I just listened to "Are you Alice? unbirthday scrap#005 White Rabbit ← Bloodflower" the other day and was pretty stunned. The White Rabbit seemed so unstable in the main series, but he was so different in the past. O.o Gotta admit, Morikubo Shoutarou's performance was pretty moving. At the end, when he blew up at March Hare, my throat already tightened up a bit...and then afterwards, when he was apologizing to MaryAnn/Alice, I actually teared up a little. Hm, but I'm a little confused about what happened at the end of that scene that made him completely yandere snap. I thought he'd be okay after speaking to what seemed to be the normal Alice, but then next thing you know, crazy/creepy sound effects swirl around and then bam, White Rabbit turned crazy.
The "unbirthday scrap" CDs are so good. There are some series out there that have supplemental stories that you can really do without, but in "AyA"'s case, I think these extra stories are crucial to truly enjoying and understanding the series. Listening to this series feels like when I was watching FMA because I'm always feeling sooo bad for the characters...they're all so miserable ;_;
