Blaaah
YAY one midterm down.
So happy to come home today to two packages: one with a Naruto DVD Box set (thanks
nicksoapdish !!) and the other one with a few Digimon and Naruto doujinshi (thanks again Roger if you read this ^_^ ). My dad finally raised an eyebrow at me about all the packages I've been receiving cuz he thinks I'm blowing away hecka money. I told him I paid with commissions or participated in contests and he stared at me for a few seconds and then continued drinking his coffee. Haha, dunno if that's a good or a bad thing, but at least he doesn't think I'm reckless with money.
Yaay finally I have a non-hentai, well drawn Takuya x Izumi doujinshi :3 And YAY a NaruSaku anthology!! I really wish Rigoletto did more doujinshi...actually I wish there'd be a whole 'nother NaruSaku anthology, but the circle's site has been pretty quiet for a few months.. I hope it comes back to life... T_T
I finally thought of a rough NaruSaku doujin idea I'd really like to do...but it'll probably be a long time before I finally do it..my free time and motivation is..unpredictable and pretty low at the moment. Maybe if Kishimoto cranks out that oh-so-rare Narusaku moment then I might get motivated, but with the way things are lately, I'll just sit on my idea...and speaking of the manga...
This week's Naruto chapter was AWESOME. Sasuke's won back my respect with that killer move. I'm happy the battle didn't turn out Dragon Ball Z-ish with whoever fires the biggest beam wins. No, there was tact behind Sasuke's move and that was great. That cleverness is one of the reasons why I fell in love with the show in the first place. I was afraid it was fading out and being replaced with brute strength, but no, it's still there :) And YES PLEASE conclude this Uchiha battle already!! Naruto hasn't been in the manga for 2 months!! XO If he doesn't show up by the 400th chapter I'm not reading the manga anymore.
I've been listening to Ken Hirai's new single "Canvas/Kimi wa Suteki" nonstop since yesterday. "Kimi wa Suteki"'s chorus is SO freaking catchy and I love it to death, but the verses make me cringe like no other... I really don't like the verses. Hehe I love how there's a heart in the title. I've never seen that before! When I first saw that, I thought he was gonna somehow sing that part..as if the heart symbol was some kind of sound effect or something XD
"Canvas" is a beautiful song and I tried finding lyrics and found out it's a song for the "Honey and Clover" live action drama! Hehe, very interesting seeing as how I'm finally getting somewhere in the series. Hmm dunno if I'll watch the live action one too though :/
I also started listeing to Monkey Majik and I must say...not bad! I wish all Japanese bands had some native English speakers as members. I love when English is blended well with Japanese songs (which may be why I like Crystal Kay and Jyongri so much).
