Lost Job
So, the details...
Position has been horrible since day one - treated like dirt. Company dysfunctional to the extreme, no communication, et cetera - things have been done the same way since it's inception 20+ years ago.
Fast forward:
First week December 2009 - informed that they have sold 1/3 of the stores effective the following Saturday (8 days notice).
I know they are going to let someone go.
I have saved the company a LOT (over 100K) in 2.5 years, I do my job in less than the time allotted... work my butt off et cetera
HR lady - can't get job done in 40 hrs a week, treats everyone like dirt, tattles on everyone else
Today - was informed my position has been eliminated and I have 2 weeks to train teh accountant (who is already busy 40 hrs a week) to do my job. NO SEVERANCE!
Yup, not a good day, on the other hand, had a REALLY good interview this morning (before this happened), my fingers are crossed...
