Week 10

Jul 07, 2005 14:07

Today was the last day of our current Weight Watchers session. We're actively looking for a few more people so we can have another session, beginning at the end of July. Shouldn't be too difficult to find 4 overweight people that want to join up and add to our group's total loss (for the 10 weeks, we were down some 150 pounds).

My news? I was down another 1.4 pounds. Total loss for the session was 23.4. I'm >THIS< close to goal for the session, and by the time we start back up in a couple of weeks, I should be there and ready to start a new goal.

As a group, we went around the room and set more long term goals. What do we want to have happen by Labor Day. Since that's 7 or 8 weeks away, and I've been consistently losing weight, I want to be down another 10 to 15 pounds by then, with a further out goal of 50 pounds total by Christmas. On top of setting an achieveable goal, how to do it. Again, since I've been consistent, I just want to continue what I've been doing, with the biking and walking to work a few times a week, and watching my points, adding more vegetables, and hopefully add more exercise to the weekly regime.

Oh, and I'm apparently the poster-child for this session. I've lost the most weight in 10 weeks. Crazy. It took me 6 years to put on 80 pounds. Can I lose most of that in less than a year?
