turn of the year

Here we are again and what a year it's been, eights months of  fathers illness then grandmother then mother and once again grandmother, meaningful ritual, a daughters car wreck, breakups, loving friends, a brothers treachery, emotional turmoil, massive trama with their father continual holding as tears fall, sweet love, beautiful land, planting, harvesting, prom, choir camp and through much of it the unreal powerful May energy ebbing and flowing. The children come and go growing and changing. The hospitals blur together the emotions deep and important. seep through the skin, no longer a painful shock only necessary acceptance, and time moves on. It's funny how time slips by, sometimes heavy and often light and how upon the simple raise of the head so much of it gone.
Thank you for the year, the focus on hard edges, the slowing of time that allowed me to live it, to learn it and to Love. So much Love. Love to give, love to receive, love that remembers  Love to know and honor, Love to miss, and all of it filling the soul and making it more

running through my mind for weeks now "and in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make" -Paul McCartney
