(no subject)
i cant find the right words to express how insanely kick-ass the jimmy concert was. we left sj around 6 and got to the fillmore around 6:45 - 7 ish. the concert started at 8, but we wanted to get there by 7 to purchase Jimmy merchandise. matt and i had a little lack of communication about who was going to purchase what shirt, so we accidently bought the same one. so, being the brilliant men that we are, he returned his and bought the second coolest shirt on the wall and we're gunna switch shirts every now and then like girls in middle school. then i got a poster and some stickers on the way out and we put a 105.3 sticker on the 104.9 van :-) good shit.
then, to continue along the 27 continuous hours spent with matt, we got home and got about 3 hours of sleep before we needed to get up and go work at the polling place. we had to be there by 6 am and we didnt get out of there til about 9 pm. we were idiots for signing up for the job. the 15 hour shift wasnt worth the 100 bucks that theyre gunna give us. it was so fuckin boring. im so glad they gave me a friend to work with because i probably wouldve left halfway through from being bored to death if they hadn't. everything that we said was hilarious, though. you know when you get soooo tired that you laugh at EVERYTHING? it was like that for about 12 of the 15 hours we worked. we decided that the people who didnt take a sticker were going to explode in the near future. so if you hear any stories in the news about people getting blown into oblivion, it was us who did it. why the fuck am i writing in this thing at 11:18 pm? im going to sleep.
