fortune cookies are real!!

ok dudes and dudettes. here's to prove that fortune cookies DO tell the truth.

so the last 2 times ive gone to a chinese restaurant (panda express and golden buddha) and gotten fortune cookies, they've happened. the first incident was with my friend sean who moved to shasta county about a year ago. he came back to visit one day and showed up on my doorstep looking to hang out or do something...so i suggested food and we went to panda express. after the meal i opened my fortune cookie and it said "you will be joined by an old forgotten friend." crazy? yeah, i think so too...

the second incident happened earlier tonight where my family and i went to golden buddha for dinner. after eating, i read my fortune cookie which said "prepare for a short journey; you will be recalled by an unexpected event." so we got up and were walking out of the restaurant when the guy at the front counter gave us all lollypops. as we were walking out the door, mine broke and shatterred on the pavement, forcing me to go back into the restaurant and get another. short journey = the trip to the car. unexpected event = lollypop. KAH-RAAAZY!

by the way, the correct way to eat a fortune cookie is to eat the cookie while concealing the fortune in your hands, and only reading the fortune after the cookie is eaten. so until next time...
