I have a vague memory of a fic where Jim & Blair are a bonded pair and work for an organisation run by Seth. Seth reveals himself to SG1 during the story.
I don't know if this is the same story or not but I remember Blair being poisoned by ergot by a vengeful student. The student had his girlfriend make the bread and then swap out the sandwiches.
