Shopping!

As far as WalMart is concerned, I'm pretty much on my own. Running register and pretty much doing my thing with little interference. That's kind of nice. They have given me about the suckiest schedule in the world, though, really. Speaking of which, A, we have to talk sometime. I'm not sure if it's even worth it for you to come down Labor Day weekend. I'd love to see you, but they wouldn't give me a day off when I asked. I'm working 12-9 Friday, 10-7 Saturday, 2-11 Sunday, and 12-9 Monday. It's up to you, I'll gladly set you up in my apartment and we can have fun when I'm home. You can watch all of 10th Kingdom or something. And really, getting home at 9 and 7 those two nights isn't that bad, if you wanted to drive in on Friday night. But yeah, get in touch with me somehow and we'll figure it out.

I went grocery shoppings today! I got chicken, spaghetti, mac and cheese, tuna, lettuce..um...cheap pocky...a lunch box...sandwich cheese...and other various things, I forget. All for 16 bucks! Thank you, discount card!

Classes start for me tomorrow. *grins* I hope they go well. And hey, that's two days I don't have to work nine hours, right?

I've finally gotten some good "crazy customer" stories. Like the two Indian ladies who were throwing a party and realized it was cheaper to buy seventy or so sets of silverware from us instead of renting them. So I got to count each piece. Rock. Or the people who use about half of their order to price match. We're nice and give products to people at a cheaper price if another store is advertising it as such, so some people have, like, half the cart as price matches. Pain. In. The. Behind. But we do it with a smile. :) And there was a little boy who let his mom get four steps past my register today and then threw up all over the floor. That was pretty awesome, in a gross, feeling-bad-for-the-kid-and-mom kind of way. I still eat lunch alone, which is both good and bad.
