Hi!
We haven't talked in awhile. I blame NaNoWriMo.
So what's been happening with me? Not much. I wrote a novel. It's not very good and it's not finished. I got a bunch of rejections. I played a fair bit of Runescape. I finished reading Fellowship of the Ring and A Game of Thrones. I liked them both a bunch and am currently reading Two Towers and just got A Clash of Kings from the library today. I don't want to give away any spoilers but dang, George R.R. Martin. I really liked that person that died near the end of the book. I really did. I'm mad at you for killing them.
I'm currently struggling with a 1920s short story that refuses to come out well. I also have a few other projects on the back burner because when do I ever not? My Christmas shopping is done but we don't have a tree and the house is only partially decorated, because we don't really have many decorations that aren't for the tree and I can't figure out where to put the ones we do have.
We've been singing in our church choir, which we thoroughly enjoy. Our church also just started an after-school homework help kind of program on Wednesdays and tomorrow I'm going for my first day volunteering. I'm excited about it and a little nervous, but I think it'll be a good time.
We bought an electric blanket. It's kind of awesome.
I need a haircut.
I wish I were more interesting.
