Dad is being a total jackass to my brother, whom I just got off the phone with.
He's restricting how much money he can take out of the bank even tho its my BROTHER'S money that HE made, he's restricting what days my brother can work over the holidays, he's planning my brother's summer with things he doesnt even want to do, and he's talking shit about me to him.
My brother is turning 18 in May so he says he's going to move out then..the problem is that with my dad restricting how often he can work, he wont be able to afford his own place. By then he'll still have another year of highschool..
My father has already trapped me, and i see him trapping my brother. Trapping us into dependence on him. I've found my ways around things with him- being up here definitely helps. After that email from him demanding more money from me, I've put him on hold- its been a month since I've contacted him. But my brother..he still lives with him- he's still in highschool and has no where to go if things go awry.
I worry.
