So, today my dog did something that I am ashamed have to admit, I have never done.

She donated blood to save a little rottie puppy. I was so proud of her, she behaved so well, we didn't need to sedate her or anything, she just stood there for 10 minutes while we sucked about 1/4 liter of blood from her jugular vein. Now, of course she didn't ( Read more... )

Yup. People have been asking me all day if dogs have blood types, and to that I say .... I dunno. We just yoink it out and put it in the other dog and hope it takes. :-P

Cuteness! My dogs are really little, and I don't think taking blood from them would be beneficial for either party.

And I?… aheh... Apparently you can't give until you're 18 here (searches for the logic in that* *fails to find it*

But they do keep calling me. Apparently I have a rare blood type or something. *Shrug*

I couldn't help but ask about the blood type thing, you know? I have to be so freakin' careful giving blood to people. My curiousity was out of my mouth before I even realized I asked. :)
