Chapter Nine

Bobby called Dean for what felt like the hundredth time before the kid finally answered the phone. The first thing Dean said was “Bobby, you ok?” which was flat out irritating considering the stomach ulcer he had brewing over worrying if Dean was ok.

“Fine. Got Charlie and his family out of town, just like ya said. Sam show?” He heard

That scene of Dean praying was so powerful! I love the mythology of this, Dean as the Fool, outside the game, the last chance to change Sam's destiny. And, hey, this Michael isn't a douchebag!

Thanks! I started this fic right after Jus in Bello aired and posted it just before 4.1, so I had no idea that their Michael would ever show, let alone be a dick, but yeah ... I kind of heart mine. ;)
