It's cool -- different perspectives help keep us all grounded and give food for thought. I wasn't cool with many of Sam's choices, but I can understand how the other side of the coin looks too, and do plan on giving that some more thought (and rewatch will hopefully help me sort out my thoughts some more too). And hey, we do both agree that they are both being stupid, so there's that. ;)
I'm struggling to get over the cruelty of Dean knowingly using Amelia being in danger as a ruse to lure Sam out. Especially after everything Dean when through with Lisa; after what Sam went through with Madison, and Jess. I can't imagine what was going through Sam's head on the drive from LOUISIANA to TEXAS. (I've driven that before, trust me, it is an insufferably long drive. :P ) I just ... yeah. No.
Fair enough. I do see that side of the coin. Not gonna argue it, because yeah. Definitely not cool, in and of itself, even though I'm not feeling it to the same degree you are. They both screwed up, in their own ways. *knocks their heads together*
*hugs* It will get better -- maybe they had to get all this ugly stuff out in the open to confont it before they can start getting past it and rebuilding that damaged trust.
The cruelty of letting Sam worry for a few hours? As opposed to the CRUELTY of Sam going to MURDER Dean's friend? I have to laugh at the idea making someone worry over nothing for a few hours is so much crueler than actually killing someone's friend. And unlike Amy, Benny actually is a friend, not just someone he knew 6 hours 15 years ago whom he caught in the middle of a murder spree who gave him a sobstory
( ... )
These boys. How to fix this? They seriously need to talk things out instead of reacting to their own issues and projecting on each other...

*With the first part. The second part is obvious. *sigh* Those stupid boys.

Yes he does, and with good reason. I understand Dean's perspective, but I empathize more with Sam's. *shrug*
Otherwise, I disagree but you are of course entitled to your own view.
