Megacon quickie post
SO, today is day ... 8? 9? That I've had a fever and a really wet chest cough and the dizzies, so this'll be brief being as how I can't hardly remember my own name.
I went to Megacon last weekend in Orlando. I was supposed to cosplay She-Ra but due to the extreme sickness that was happening I decided to just drag myself around in normal clothes, which proved to be hard enough. She-Ra has been delayed until Dragon con in August, I shall keep you guys posted on that. On to Rose now for metro in June, gotta keep on top of my time frames this year. :)
Friday night Vikki, Rubi and I watched Show together at Rubi's new place in Orlando, just like old times. I LOVED REPO MAN OKAY, SHOW LOVES ME AND I LOVE IT AND WE JUST WANT TO BE TOGETHER. And when I have my coherence back I will write a love letter all about how much love there is. Love. Love. Lovelove.
The Saturday, I got to go to the 2 panels I really wanted to go to - Vampire Diaries and Tron. LADIES. Look at your man. Now look at Joseph Morgan.
Yeah, that's what I thought. *fans self* But I digress. Lauren Cohan was the real reason I even went to the con in the first place - because my poster did not have any Bela on it, and that is WRONG, people, just WRONG. She was so so sooo sweet and friendly and smiley and adorable and she is going to see me again in August. *glee* And now my poster has Bela on it. So YUSS. And then I made a key for my poster because it was getting impossible to read, so here it is. Click for bigger.
I was feeling really faint in the dealer's room because it was so hot and I had a fever so I spent the afternoon resting in the hotel, Victoria and I got pizza and some camera equipment, and then we spent actually a really delightful evening having dinner with my ex and some of the other convention staff at a really awesome restaurant that I'd done photo shoots at but never ordered food from before. Heh.
Then Sunday Victoria and I helped shoot for a Disney Cosplay group and it was a BLAST. I did small group shoots for Tangled and Beauty and the Beast and Clayton from Tarzan, and we did a large group shoot as well. Pics from the other photographers are rolling in still, but my favorite group I saw was KIM POSSIBLE omg. Lookit lookit lookit. I want to go buy the whole series and watch it over again RIGHT FRIGGIN NOW.

Also, I splurged and bought myself new children. Hee. I shall now be in blissful graphic novel land for at least a month. And a pac-man belt, because I'm a nerd like that.
