You made Sam live through Hell! Of course! Because he did! And when he dies he goes to Hell, and the Light-bringer pretends to be Mary! It's all so perfect. And and and Dean sneaks out because he wants revenge, ha. And just everything. EVERYTHING.

Okay, okay, okay - I haven't watched 715 yet. So I don't know whether to squee over that yet. The Repo Men of it all, that is, not the episode itself. I hear it was awesome.

I love this chapter. I love that you have them frikkin TALKING. I love the understanding that's imparted, the SAM of it all, the when and how. I love that there's a chance to take a breath and it's still horrific but it's still THEM and that is, as you know, my #1 unshakeable reason for love for this fic.

Dean’s voice echoes up the stairs. “When did Bobby build a safe room?”
Sam’s voice floats back, edgy and distracted. “I don’t know, Dean, it’s not like I’ve been here lately.”

And that it's remembering (intentionally or not) Bobby trying to patch up Sam in this very place, and the history of how it all fell apart; beautifully done.
