School stuffs
This term I took Design 1, which was crap tons of sketching and computer rendering of flats, etc. People have been asking about seeing my boards, so here are the ones that I had printed up for our 2 major projects this term. Don't make fun of my color names, I hate naming colors more than just about anything I can think of. These boards are huge, so click for bigger.
Project 1:
Children's wear, a 7-pc collection inspired by a kid's movie. I picked Treasure Planet, because that movie gets NO love, and hello - it's totally Steampunk! I hate drawing kids, but I think these turned out a'ight.
Project 2 :
Juniors 9 pc coordinating separates drawing from any inspiration I want. I chose Dystopia, because it is 2012 and I love movies like The Road and The Book of Eli and books like The Hunger Games. I used the Mockingjay, Sucker Punch, and some post-apocalyptic art for my inspiration pictures, and I titled the collection 'Haven' in honor of CMM's Everlast, which is epic and if you still haven't ordered a copy, you should and you can do that HERE.
(I'm particularly proud of the Haven boards because I am trying to perfect my sketching style to be a little more comic book, and I think I finally figured it out. )
None of these designs are in production, this was just for homework. Although I kind of want to make myself that space hoodie, LMAO. Anyhoo. Enjoy!
