Busy Monday!
Woke up early and went to 8:30 yoga. Gonna feel it tomorrow, but I really like the AM instructor at the gym. She's tougher, but she makes sure you are positioned right, and that's cool with me.
Had a photo shoot with my friend Victoria for the rest of the day! I've always wanted to do a proper shoot of Carmilla, and I wanted to get it before I retired her, since I feel like it is time for me to move on. THEN I got an out of the blue offer to buy her, so the photoshoot became top priority, and as luck had it, Victoria needed someone to shoot for a job interview! *huzzah* Short story long - I spent the entire day down at the UT campus sweating my ass off, wearing yellow eyed contacts and vampire fangs and scaring the hell out of small children coming through for the campus tour, LOL. In a word? FUUUUUN.
In other news, my new classes are ... going. Textiles is hard as crap, just because of the sheer amount of homework. The other two (sketching 2 and construction 1) are fun but time consuming. I AM still working on my review of the finale, it's nearly there, I promise.
Whilst sketching (a lot), I have hulu'd (a lot) and caught up on The Voice. I am enjoying it immensely even though I usually hate singing shows. This vid sums up why - ADAM LEVINE, BABY.

Also, SO excited for SYTYCD this year - everyone is already a pro! THE MIND, IT BOGGLES!
Saw X-Men First Class and everything is James McAvoy and nothing will ever hurt, ever again. LOVED Jess Lawrence as Raven (even if her name DOES make me giggle) And the rest were fab as well. I had my reservations, but ... go see it. It's worth it. Now I just need to see Super 8, and I will be happy until Harry Potter comes out. (In theaters)
