Given that Jared and Jensen just entered marriage (with women...not each other)!!!!! You have to wonder if they are thinking about having little ones of their own. It kinda made the episode cuter. And I'm not one to fall for men and babies or cute babies, and no my ovaries did not explode. I'm more into cute little kids, anyways.
On a side note: Dean was not clueless with the baby, just akward, but not anymore akward than I would be since it's been years since handling a baby.
I think you may be right about the Charger having a short lifespan, but I love her too!!!
Also, I keep waiting for someone to point out that Sam screeching up to get Dean in the store parkinglot was ripped straight from Raising Arizona, and I don't think it's the only scene. :)
Though I understand it from a filming the baby to best advantage angle, the boys did NOT get the car seat right: the seat should always face backward for safety. ALWAYS!
I spent over a quarter century teaching this to parents taking their babies home from the hospital, so I hate to see it done wrong on TV. :-(

I didn't think Dean came across clueless at all. Are people saying that? O.o He did better than I would have done, that's for sure! :D

I wondered about baby!Rugaru when the episode started too! It had that ~feel to it.
I always thought Jess would be pretty accepting of the hunting life.
I love the Charger too, but I still agree with Dean. Seat belt dingers are annnoyyying.
