Insta-ramblings on 5.12.

1) Slight writing!fail on how actually epic it could have been. Smoother, maybe. Still - good times.
2) God, Sam is totally losing Dean. Woe.
3) He doesn't know how to relate to a Dean that doesn't want to be a hunter anymore, because that's all Dean's ever wanted to be out loud. Now he thinks they are finally on level ground but all they really did was switch places. Of course the truth is Dean always wanted a family, he just never allowed himself to think about it.

5) I think this episode may have turned them against each other even more than sex and violence did. *frowns*
6) Also, can I just add that it bothers me how glossed over the death of the dude that got his HEART RIPPED OUT was? O_o
7) I get the parallels, SamnDean living in a hotel with a babysitter for weeks at a time while dad was away, etcetc, vs Gary (didn't we hear the name Gary? ... O.o) but I feel like it could have tied together a *tad* smoother. Although Sam's snarky first half of the ep - being annoyed with EVERYONE - really made me glee. I miss snarky Sam. :)
8) The demon actress was AWESOME. A PLUSPLUS. I love how MEG keeps showin up UNNAMED. AND SHE LEAVES THE SAME WAY EVERY TIME. BITCH.
9) Sam could have called her out. He always knows her. Unless he can't feel it's her without his BODY. Like in the premeir, when he walked into the room and said OH HAI MEG with no introductions. I mean, obviously his powers are tied to his body - 4.16 - and so maybe he can't sense her without it.
