Okay, I fail at fandom... when did Jared and Gen get engaged? Well, good for them ♥ ♥

I'm such a cynic when it comes to Hollywood engagements and marriages (hell, RL ones too, for that matter) so I truly hope both couples beat the odds and have long and loving relationships :)

Lol. A while ago, but Jared's reps just officially announced it today.

Marriages are hard, for sure - no matter who you are. I can't imagine all the added PR makes things easier. But they are both smart, down to earth guys with strong family roots and values - they've got a better chance than most, I think. ;)

Plus, Jensen needs to hurry up and have kids so that he can not let Jared babysit them for fear of Jared throwing them off of a cliff. *grin*

I'm never surprised when couples I know break up. Hell, I'm more surprised by those that continue to stick it out LOL. I've even been heard to say I wouldn't be surprised if hubby and I broke up. It's true! I mean the odds are against marital longevity, even if we've been together almost 24 years ;).

I'd like to think so. Wouldn't it be nifty if, in 30 years, either - both! - couple could be referred to as the next Woodward & Newman? Excluding the prior marriage for one of the guys, of course ;).

I'm due in 12 hours at the hospital for a minor outpatient procedure done on an eyelid and told myself I'd get to bed early so my eyes didn't start the day bloodshot, puffy and sore. So much for that plan ;).
