We have a tramway. Edinburgh, eat your heart!

I saw the technological miracle. Lucky old me. The tram indeed exists. AAA and I were trying to get on one, but it all ended up with AAA pulling a Japanese (read somewhere there are special people whose job is stuffing people into the metro wagons in the morning. AAA did that). Think they are stress testing the tram now: how many people can be staffed inside? Will they breath? Will the tram move?
I still find it rather useless living where I am - would need to take a bus to get to the nearest tram station; the traffic jam under the bridge is still the same (especially Sunday morning. Now multiplied by the curious minds and amateur photographers who need to take their money shot. Because, obviously, it is SO different from the one taken by 309485 others).
As far as the skating goes the pavement between the rails is rather good, though a bit narrow - really pushing doesn't work there, but a slow strolling is fine.
Edinburgh, now it's your turn.

p.s. the bicycle lane in the old rail is indeed nice. Walked it through, seems skatable.

p.p.s. there was something equally necessary I meant to write, but, obviously, forgot. Hey ho.

p.p.p.s Ediburgh tram update
