Wow, so lots of posts since the day before yesterday! There was actually stuff for me to read! (Surprised? You betcha.)
We're getting a DOG! His name is Jasper and he's a Cocker Spaniel (blue roan) and he's 15months old because his previous owners had to give him up because they're moving to Canada and the Army won't let them have a dog. (Sad for them.) We're going to Bristol to get him tomorrow, yay! I've really missed having a dog, you know?
Sheffield yesterday I didn't like at all. They made no effort whatsoever to tell you anything useful about the course or the uni, didn't show you around or anything, so I was there for all of an hour to be interviewed and CRB'd for their own convenience, frankly. Liverpool in comparison was marvellous, so I know where I'm going, no matter the offer.
I want to find more good fanfic to read.
LATER:
I just watched the last two episodes of Season Five of Stargate SG-1 and now I'm strangely calm. It's quiet, because Lucy and Dad are out. Daniel's death/ascension... it was beautifully done. The writers really got it. And while I'm not sure they did Jack justice in his reactions, Daniel was perfect. And I cried, and I cried in the next episode too when Sam was crying, because strange as it sounds they're all my friends now. I spend a lot of time with them, I know them well, and I love them to pieces. Maybe this is obsessive and weird, but I don't care. I get involved with stories. I love to get involved with stories. And if that means I cry when characters die, that's fine by me.
