Dreamwidth is still dead
I migrated over here from LJ a couple years back and tried to make a go of it but the place was dead. Checked back just now following a fellow emigrant to see if things had improved. They have a bit: a search for "[people] who posted [during the past week] and [location = 'San Francisco']" results in about 20 entries now, not 4. But most of these are role-playing fictionlogs or friends-only (no visible content). So it's still pretty dead.
Maybe a community search will turn up something.
