Why fast?

I’m fasting for several reasons: to lose weight, to reset my eating habits, to clear out my system, to promote healing, and for spiritual development. And because I enjoy it.

Weight loss

I do remember your last fast, the day four thing that happened, but I felt it was still successful in that you stuck with it for enough time to get some benefit. I would like to do one or two days to start, and then, build to four. I don't think I would do more than that, although I have that one time I did ten days in the past. There is that amazing euphoria!

I am interested in the spiritual aspects for you and how that will play out.

There is all that info about how rats live longer who eat less. It makes sense, we generally probably eat too much nearly all the time, since we can. It is so easy to do so.
