The rain garden was dug and mulched yesterday, with the plants set to the side, presumably for planting today or tomorrow. I hope it's tomorrow. It will be much cooler for the crew. The area looks so much bigger nekkid. We still have to take down the rest of the old cherry tree, but that's off to the side and easily done.
Denny was a bit over-enthused while trimming back the grape on that fence, but it's been there for years and this probably won't bother it. I don't think a nuclear blast would bother it.
Found a tomato that was partly red! They are long, hot pepper-shaped Italian heirloom tomatoes, the name of which I do not have handy. And there is one Hillbilly potato leaf one, the fruit of which is round. Should be interesting to see how they both taste. I'll let you know. Stay cool.
