Awesome jewelry!!

I got a nice pick-me-up today in the mail....some jewelry I had special ordered from a friend of mine and fellow Etsy seller, BeadyMonkey.  I'm so glad I found her shop at Etsy, as I have become such a big fan of her funky, vintage, and quite creative and unique jewelry.  Whenever I wear her pieces, I get tons of compliments.  I decided to have her create a few custom pieces for me.  The first is the Stella bracelet.  My mother-in-law pointed me to this website when I adopted Stella, http://www.2houndsdesign.com:80/  They sell greyhound supplies, amongst those tags that one can wear on a necklace that are engraved with the tattoos of your adopted greyhound.  All racers have tattoos in their ears.  I thought this was a cool idea, and decided rather than a necklace using the tag, I'd have BeadyMonkey make a bracelet for me and incorporate the tag.  Well, she outdid herself, because not only did she incorporate the tag into this fantastic bracelet, she also put in a picture of Stella!  Way way cool!!  I just love it!


   


I also asked her if she could make a cameo type pendant using a scan of a beautiful old photograph I have of my French great-grandmother.   It's just lovely, I know I will get many great compliments on these pieces.....
