This piece is also on Ebay right now....a loose study done of my cat Cassady while he lay on the morning newspaper.  Cats, what is it with them and newspapers??   I worked on this piece using graphite and my oil bars, oil paint in stick form, to render my lovely kitty.   Sketchy and expressionist in style and fun, this piece is on a large gallery-wrapped canvas, 24x30.  I love to work in this style, just quick live oil study sketches catching cat behavior in action, or, well, in-action, in this particular case.
