Thanks to everyone who posted on the Kendars' new state.  You've given me a lot to think about.  I'm still working through my reactions ( Read more... )

Some thoughts that occurred to me later, after I posted...
It kind of feels like there is a showdown somewhere between Rawneth and Jame in the future... I could kind of see something like Jame and Rawneth duking it out in the soulscape while Kindrie shields/protects/heals/retrieves the Randir who are so tightly bound to Rawneth that they are going down with her if/when she dies or is destroyed.

I was also wondering if there is some potential in a Kindrie-Titmouse-Loogan moment somewhere. Maybe in the reformation/restoration of the priesthood? Kindrie (who left the priesthood) healing the damaged novices, Titmouse (who stayed) reforms the priesthood and Loogan who acts as a link/bridge between the forces of Rathilien and the Three-Faced God (on whom all the gods of Tai-Tastigon are dependent for a power source)? With Kindrie (and Kirien) as the knowledge source for the priesthood's runes, training, knowledge, etc., Titmouse who could conceivably run/oversee the newly-reformed priesthood on the day-to-day, overseeing a priesthood who actually helps/serves the Kencyrath?

Side note: would Kindrie actually heal the Dark Judge's burns and free him from the Burnt Man or would he speak the pyric rune that would finally burn the Dark Judge and set his soul free... ?

The pyric rune appears to be Destruction in action, more of a Jame thing. We see her free the dead with fire several times over the course of the books.
