Whoop Whoop! East Side!

I'm having a full but great and eventful weekend so far.  I spent Saturday at the UN for UNA Members Day, which was tiring but fun. And I just got back from my first rehearsal of Three Sisters!! I was at first weary about my Vershinin, but actually, after this rehearsal, I couldn't be happier that he's my Vershinin. He's a MASTER at improv and comedy, which is just perfect. We were working on my favorite part which is in the middle of Act 2 where everyone is just musing on life and philosophizing and such and my only direction for the improv was, "You're socialites." And he created a whole fantastic scene where he went shopping for bonsai trees! Loves it! Now, I've got 10 pages to write for my play (which I put up a little from a month ago) and I'm kind of stuck because I don't know where it's going. But I enjoy doing the work for my play!

I know I haven't written a review in a while. I still have to write reviews for:
Sunday in the Park....
Passing Strange
In the Heights
Dead Man's Cell Phone
Gypsy
Adding Machine
My First Time
Merm
Return trip to Jersey Boys

I know. I'll write them. I haven't seen a show in over a week and a half, which is truly devastating. Over Spring Break, I saw a show every night, so I feel like I'm in a drought! Luckily, my show is starting rehearsals, so I've got some other source of theater to keep me warm. And I'll be seeing Dangerous Liaisons on Saturday and then South Pathetic on the Wednesday after
