Oh no!

My monitor is broken! x_x

It probably got stepped on while it was on the floor in Jack and Jamie's room T____T

I don't care who did it (it might've even been me, although I tried to be careful...)... it's on the very edge of it, so it probably could've just been a bit of pressure just on the side of the laptop...

It's all, like, blacked out in the region, and all broken. I wish I could screencap it XD

But I'll have to go and get it fixed.

Where is the nearest FutureShop? I'm sure they'll be able to help me get it repaired. I still have the receipts and stuff in case I need them, but they're up with Dad in Prince George, unless I remembered to pack them away. I think they're still there, though.

I kind of don't want to use my laptop if it's broken, but I'll have to still use it at least a little bit, because I have a meeting in-game for FFXI on Saturday. Maybe I can just install it on Jamie's computer, though it would take a whole day to get that done x_x

T______T

*is very sad and disappointed, but pretty calm about the whole thing*

I hate that I might have to send it away to get fixed and wait for weeks to get it back, especially since it's the Christmas season so all the mail's bogged up, but maybe I can get it repaired and get a new monitor screen on it locally or something.

This is probably going to cost me :/ It's too bad. I don't have the money to do it right now, so I'm going to have to use my line of credit for it (then again, that's where the laptop money was from anyway)... although remember that if it's going to cost any more than some sum, it'll be better to just buy a brand new laptop. Again, though, I don't have the money for it, and if I have to do that, it'll be really disappointing since I'll basically be broke for months, and not have as much money for AE as I had hoped. I don't know, I'll just have to see how it goes.

T__T

No panicking though, right? It won't get anything done.

It's a good thing the majority of the screen works. I should try to look up warranty information (or just how to get a replacement monitor on this kind of laptop) too. Oh, and I'm going to backup all of my personal files (well, My Documents, basically, as that's all I have aside from games on here that I can get elsewhere). I'll just move it over to the Shared Folder sometime tomorrow, I guess. If I send it to get repaired, they might reinstall everything on me (which might actually help XDDDD).

SIGH...
