Just a quick ramble

Hey,
Look, I know that for some reason, there are those who believe myself and madmonkeyshow to be the same person. We are not. I do not and have never gotten the level of thrill that she gets out of a spirited debate or arguement however you might view it. I have lived my life under the belief that when a fight, any fight was necessary, it had better be for something other than mouthy activities. There are more important things in life to do than flame each other over differences in writing styles and expressions. That being said, I will also note that if I were madmonkeyshow, why would I thank myself for beta reading "Comeuppance" parts 2 and 3?
From learning what the culture was like during from the 1950's until fairly recent (that being at least 2002), from two wonderful gay gentlemen who are both now deceased; it is indeed true that being gay at that time period, the days before Stonewall was not only difficult, but sometime could be injurious. And if writing even romantically about the time as it was, one would have to be cautious about being seen in the wrong place at the wrong time. Such could lead to much more trouble than it would be worth. So, for that part of this whole nasty bit of discussion, let's call it done with.
I will make no apologies for my friend. If there are any to be made, and she feels it necessary, I am sure she will do as her mind leads her.
As for my re-enstatement, as I stated before, I have flamed, insulted and baited no one. If I felt the need to do so, I would attend my next family reunion and get into that sort of fight with a sibling or someone else who mattered. I still see no reason why my banning was necessary. If it is something done through the connet line itself, then so be it. We have different computers, both are on the same line, but that is sometimes how it has to be. One phone line, one internet connection, one line of contact. That, we have in common. We are both involved in art. Madmonkeyshow is a fine sculptor, one of the best I have ever seen. I work in either cloth, yarns or beads, and am quite happy with that, though, I know I can always do better. Opinions, no. Her thoughts and ways of doing thing are strictly her, and mine are mine. We can and have agreed on some points of interest, and disagreed on others. Which is something people tend to do. We agree that all our thoughts and actions will never mesh completly.
As for my annoyance about this mess... I do not see the point in dragging all of this over the coals numerous times. Culf, I have seen your art works and will leave it at that. Ausmac, if you choose to read this; I never got a response to my question as to why I was banned. An answer to that question might explain a great deal. If I am re-enstated, fine. If not also fine. I do not intend on beating this bead haddock any further. I will say this though, if this is the ammount of support given to new member of a community; the lack of instruction on how to propperly set up pages, then the sometimes rude statements from a few other members (I will and have thanked the people who did help to correct those first posting mishaps. Your help was appreciated) and in response to this nearly shoddy treatment some retalliation from madmonkeyshow I myself am banned simply for being her friend. I may not go as far as tarring the "Life in 1973" site in fandom, but I will mention to anyone who asks what went on and let them read it for themselves. Okay, all that being said. I would like to either be er-enstated or hear from those responsible why I cannot.
