(no subject)
Oh hey, long time no see here~! Well, maybe not, but the past 1-2 weeks felt like they were never going to end or something. I'll be having a collection update soon, when I feel more inclined to organize photos. Since I've been in a more artistic mood this week, I've been wanting to take advantage of it and get some artwork done! Currently, since I needed references done for my dear Kaito, I focused on that, so here we go.
Brief general notes about Kaito:
1) Always carries an umbrella.
2) Generally shows up on rainy days.
3) Comes across as being approachable and friendly.
4) Is tall and lanky.
5) Usually busy and moves from place to place often.
6) The name "Kaito" is an alias.
*note: His real name is set in stone, but I refuse to reveal it anytime soon.
He's a character who existed in concept for a couple years, but only somewhat recently did I give him a design. I got help with his alias name thanks to floweryinfinity, too! He changed a little bit during the rough phase, but I think part of the issue is that my style has been changing lately, haha. Have some old artwork roughs of him:
Back when his nickname was "Mr. Boots", I was trying to flesh out his facial features a bit.

I'd like to think that I'm improving, but who knows? Due to needing references ASAP this week, here's what I came up with and overall like:

It's going to be Phantasos' birthday this coming Saturday (6/11), so I'll try to have something special done for it! :D
