Surprise get~!
That's right, I now own the original Japanese release of Elemental Gearbolt! :D Because this arrived in the mail today, I got to reminisce about the overall game with Stephanie. <3
When I have more time, I hope to go through and see if I can rip any of the cutscenes. No one has any of the cutscenes on YouTube any longer, but those were only the English dubbed ones. No guarantees since I actually don't own any other Japanese Playstation games.
We also discussed Tagami and if s/he is seriously male, female, or what. So I pulled out my happy "designs work" kind of book I got last year and we looked at the page involving Tagami. After some deliberation, we really couldn't figure it out and there are no signs of any obvious gender that we could find. Would anyone else like to take a try? XD;

Yes, we discussed Tagami's appearance in the first Castle Shikigami game (Tagami is female in that), but it isn't canon for many reasons, including him/her using the gun type arm thing the two main girls use, which never happens in Elemental Gearbolt. Why so confusing? D:
I'd also still love to see what's up with the final set of bosses in the game, but finding out about Tagami is a little more important on a personal level, haha. Any help is appreciated! :)
