Wisconsin: Day 1
Though, this entry is more for yesterday... since it's after 1:30am Central Time... anyways!
The trip to Wisconsin was obnoxious. It's a seven hour drive, and just as we were getting to Indiana, which was only the first hour of the trip, the air conditioner busted. The belt broke, so no nice cool air for the other six hours. And we ended up going around Chicago, which makes me sad, as I wasn't able to see the city. I love seeing Chicago! Oh well, we stopped off at an Oasis and I got a Neopets green Kyree plushie from a McDonald's Happy Meal. I love being a kid at heart!
My grandparents house is on a lake. It's really a beautiful area. I get the basement to myself again like last year. I could almost live in the basement, with the exception that the bathroom has been torn out to be redone.
But it's great, really! It's such a nice quiet area, and hopefully I should be able to get some art done. Sadly no comic, but I'll be trying to work on stuff for the comic, hopefully flesh out some details and such.
The other plus about being in the basement is that this is where the computers are. So come evening I can hop online and stay on until the sun comes up without bothering anyone. At least that's what I did last year. (XD)
I don't think I'll make it tonight though. I got two hours of sleep last night (I don't regret that XD), and a short nap, but I'm still behind on sleep. The sleeper sofa looks quite comfy right now...
Anyways, I'll try to share anything good, or amusing, that I manage to get done while I'm here. For now! I rest! I didn't mean for this entry to be so long. (o_o)
