I'm kind of in love with this. I love the way you get into Mickey's head, which we only really see a glimpse of in Shameless, so it was cool to read something that explored his vulnerability a bit more. I seriously hope you write more Ian/Mickey or just Shameless fic in general. There isn't nearly enough!

Aw, thank you dear. I know. There should have been more Mickey in general, though Ian/Mickey moments would be even better. I seriously hope he gets out of juvi early in season two because he's one of my favourite characters. (Then again, everyone is at some point.)

And I'm sure I'll write more of them, and maybe even other pairings/gen stories. This is probably the first show in ages where I'm completely okay with all the canon couples. It'll be quite an experience. :D

Agreed, Mickey is also one of my favorites. I think my favorite characters often depend which character(s) each episode focuses on so it kind of shifts from episode to episode, but I love Ian and Lip so much that they're probably my ultimate favorites. I'm really intrigued by supporting characters like Mickey, Mandy, and Karen though.

Hooray! Maybe I will write some eventually too even though I don't really write. And yeah, the canon couples are awesome and for once none of them seem forced, which I love!

Exactly. I was so in love with Kev in the last three episodes. He really would make a great father, and I was just overwhelmed with happiness because of his enthusiasm in helping Ethel fit in and learn to be a child. It's just too cute.

That'd be awesome. We need more fic. And I'm sure you'd do great. Indeed! That's my problem with canon couples in most shows. The're there just to add sex to the show. Often the non-canon couples have more chemistry which is why I ship them more often. XD

Agreed, and thanks, hehe. YES, non-canon couples are almost always better. IDK why TV writers so rarely realize that canon couples' chemistry is so off-balance. I know that on Friends, Monica and Chandler only happened because the fans were screaming about how amazing their chemistry was (Monica/Joey was supposed to be the original couple).

That he is. I know. This rarely happens to me. There is always at least one person I don't like, but even the ones who piss me off I love.
