Had a great weekend
Had a great weekend with Lizzie. It flew by way too fast. We picked her up on Thursday night, and she stayed until Sunday afternoon. It was so great having her here. We talked and it's nice to have a visit from home. Just makes me feel closer to everyone at home.
We went out a few times and had a blast. I actually paced myself since I'm not drinking that much due to training, and enjoyed each night. We had fabulous sushi on Saturday night. It was the best sushi experience I have had. Just really tasty and good.
We bought Rock Band for the Wii - OMG it is so much fun. Thanks Lizzie for talking that up so much. I foresee many a night when Clint and I sit around and play.
Today my flight was canceled and we had to scramble to get on another airline. The joys of business travel.
I register for school this week. That is very exciting to me. I'm finally going to be a teacher in a few years. FINALLY. Took me a while to figure out this is what I want to do - the journey has been a fun one.
I've been practicing the mantra - Be Patient, Be Positive, Acceptance.
I woke up anxious today - I think I'm just a little overwhelmed with training for the marathon - work travel and school. So I've been repeating the above mantra - It's helping.
