A few months ago I wrote an essay about being a performer in a multicultural society. For this essay I was awarded a scholarship from Puente Theatre, a theatre company here in Victoria that focuses on the expression of immigrant issues and the exploration of social issues. The essay was posted on the Puente Theatre website (www.puentetheatre.ca), and I posted that link awhile back. This month the essay was published in Winnipeg's Filipino Journal.
