I wonder what my life would be like if I went on a schedule of sleeping every other day, for fourteen hours.

Probably I would be a lot more entertaining, since I'd be practically drunk half the time.

*sigh*

On a similarly insomniac note, I am watching the most recent episode of Doctor Who and it is fucking terrifying. If I had to deal with the Angels in real life, I would be dead in approximately the amount of time it took me to screw my eyes shut and start bawling like a child. I was all, "How could they follow up 'Blink', that was a brilliant episode," but this is even more horrifying, so good work. Doctor Who -- especially Moffat -- actually does a surprisingly good job of providing really freaky images; perhaps because it so often features things like mannequins, statues, etc. being menacing, which are the only things that consistently scare me, from the dummy issue of Goosebumps to the Talky Tina episode of Twilight Zone.

Anyway, the short of it is that -- despite being notoriously unfrightened by most media, particularly of the horror variety -- I am sitting here at 5:30 in the morning a complete and utter nervous wreck.

Good job, Moffat.

Annnnd now it's done and it's a CLIFFHANGER. SHIT. Now I'm NEVER GOING TO SLEEP AGAIN, because that would REQUIRE ME TO CLOSE MY EYES.

I guess since I am both awake and terrified, I will go to my comfort food: Rachel Maddow.
