(no subject)
My little sister is gone, all moved into her sciencey semester program. My parents are carrying on about how they're empty-nesters already, which given that they have me for another month seems a bit premature.
In fact, I would just like to point this out: I am here for three more weeks. During that time, my dad is visiting my brother and my aunt and uncle are visiting for my mother's birthday. After I leave near the end of the month, my grandmother is coming for a week in October. They will visit my sister with her, and probably my mom will go to California with her and visit my brother. After she leaves, they will visit me in England. Then they have a couple weeks and then Ruben and Tess are home for a week for Thanksgiving. Then they have two or three weeks and I'm home for a month for Christmas, and they'll see Ruben, and Tessa will be done with her semester program and they'll be stuck with her for another year and a half.
Obviously, it's a big change, but I think they're being eased into the whole thing as much as can be expected.
That said: I MISS MY SISTER. WE DIDN'T FINISH BUFFY S2 BEFORE SHE LEFT !!!
