Sometimes when I watch movies, I like to imagine the characters replaced by other characters the actors have played and how the movie would be different.
As I watch The Shawshank Redemption for the first time, those two characters would be Nuke LaLoosh and God.
Also I feel exactly like that entire jail full of men every time Rita Hayworth flips her gorgeous hair in Gilda. Silver screen crush numero uno.
(And, if you were wondering: Yes, I really, really dug on this film, even without LaLoosh finding God in prison. And even though I just watched that guy who does an amazing Morgan Freeman impression the other day and couldn't stop thinking, every time Red talked, "Oh, I might stain you from time to time, but, oh, that's all right -- you'll always be a carpet to me.")
