I had a moment of insight - the illusion of duality confirmed in the exorcism rite.
The assertion that god commands demons...
What if it is the divinity within the demon that commands it - not an out-there-somewhere deity?
The insistence upon the naming of the demon or devil is the insistence of the recognition of the illusion of separateness.
Nothing is what it thinks it is.
All is an expression of divinity - of the divine.
We are all part of the divine.
Part of the only real... the only reality with any validity.
An expression of THE truth.
There is no Other.
We are one.
Yeah - it sounds kinda obvious and somehow smaller when you put it that way.
The experience can be more than a little overwhelming though - the first time.
