So both topics are functions of my time in the Pharmacy.
First let's address Youth Empowerment.
I was told yesterday that I can't have minors working as Pharmacy clerks because they are too "impressionable". What's that supposed to mean? Apparently youth are more likely to steal or get into drug use.
So while we're at it, lets keep all poor people from working in the jewelry section because poor people are more likely to steal for profit. Lets also prevent old people from working in stressful environments because they are more likely to como have heart attacks. Hell, lets only let middle age, white, rich people work in any area where stealing might go on. Except none of those people are willing to work low income jobs.
Stand up and be outraged! I was. I'm not a minor any longer, but I think it is nonsense to exclude minors because, as a group, they are statistically more likely to do certain things.
As far as cannibalism goes, I realized as my pharmacist went to go pump for her newborn that we start our life as cannibals. What is breast feeding but the consumption of nutrients produced by humans? And we have whole magazines supporting this lifestyle! There exist very few differences between a vampire and a baby. Frickin' parasites.
